  38.     It seems to me (hah!) that this would be a hardware issue:  if your 
  39. encoder will translate certain RGB values into illegal NTSC signals, well, it's 
  40. hardware....<dribbles off into silence>

  42.     Anyway, overmodulation of the color subcarrier will result in color 
  43. bleeding and chroma crawl.  It ain't pretty, it's NTSC!
